Checkered Nail Art.

Geometric nail arts are fun because you can carry them with almost all types of outfits!
These look very complex but are usually easier to do..

Things you need:
2. Black striper polish
3. Toothpick
4. Nail polish remover
5. Cotton bud

Step one: Paint your nails white with two coats of white polish.

Step two: Using a black striper pen, draw 2-3 vertical lines depending on your nail size.
Then draw 2-3 perpendicular lines so as to form a grid.

Repeat for all nails.

Step three: Fill in alternate squares of the grid using a toothpick dipped in black polish. As i always say its OK to be messy! You can always clean off any mistakes using a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover.

Checkered nail art is ready! It’s easy but may take some time to finish...but it’s definitely worth the time right?  :)  If you’ve got it, flaunt it! ;)

Quick and easy newspaper nail art (without alcohol)

Its so easy, You can finish the nail art in 5 minutes!!!

Things you need:
1. White nail polish
2. Cup of water
3. Newspapers
4. Cotton bud
5. Nail polish remover
6. Top coat (really required)

Step one: Paint your nails with a white polish. Do two coats to make it opaque. You can use any other light colour too but I think white is the best because it makes the print visible.

Step two: Take a cup of water and some newspapers .Dip a piece of newspaper in the water. Wait for 5 seconds and press it hard on your nail (You may have to press hard so the print can come off properly on your nails)

If your print does not stick properly to the nail, clean your nail with cotton bud dipped in water and try again.

Step three
: Applying a topcoat is essential, without it the print will be lost in water.

Clean any mistakes made with cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover.

There it is! The amazingly stunning yet easy newspaper nail art!

Salt Nail Art for Short Nails

Here's a unique nail art which is easy to do yet very pretty!

Salt Nail Art!
I love the texture of this nail art :)

Things you need:
1. Purple Nail polish(I used MAYBELLINE FUSCHIA NAIL POLISH)
2. Salt
3.Nail polish remover
4.Cotton bud
5.Top coat (essential)

Step 1: Apply a single coat of your purple nail polish on all nails and allow it to dry.

Step 2: Apply the second coat on a single finger and sprinkle salt over it before it dries.( You have to do this on one finger at a time)
Repeat for all nails.

Step 3: Apply top coat to seal the nail art.
Step 4: Remove any excess polish with the help of a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover.

Done!It's so simple,right?

Important:
1. It's very important to apply a top coat or else the salt will melt when you put your hand in water! A good quality top coat is encouraged.
2. Do not attempt this nail art if you have cuts on your fingers (It will burn a lot!!I repeat A LOT!!)
3.If you are not sure if you have cuts or not(Like in my case) apply Vaseline around your nails for protection.
4.If you have a habit of eating your cuticles you are likely to have cuts.
5.Try to sprinkle the salt evenly.

What other food items can you use for nail arts? :P
