Nail paint must haves!

You may not have a million shades of nail paints but there are a few shades every woman must have!

Red hot:A bright red nail paint looks very hot!It matches all Indian skin tones.Perfect for a date or wedding.Matt or metalic red is my favourite :)
Tip:a bold red- looks good on tan skin
a bright red with a little shimmer in it- looks good on pale skin

Lady pink:Pink is a must! Its feminine and cool.Fairer skin tones can opt for brighter shades of pink or baby pinks.Brown or tan skin tones should avoid very loud or bright shades.Pinks can also be used for making flowers on french manicures(they do look very cute and feminine)

Neutral brown: Looks very classy with formals. Its perfect for occasions when you dont need too much glamour!Chocolate brown is the colour that goes well with all skin tones.

White and clear:White is mainly used for french maicures..but it can also be used for flowers and dots.Clear nail paint is also maily used in french manicur..but can also be used as top coat to give your nails a nice shiny finish

You can always match your nail paint to your outfit but sometimes its just not possible to do so...that is when these must have nail paints come to your rescue :)

Makeup for no makeup!

'The best thing is to look natural, but it takes makeup to look natural.' -Calvin Klein

I realised before my sister's engagement that Indian women are so much in trouble when it comes to make up!Most of the ladies either came up with a clown face or just spent away a LOT of the hard earned money on make up artists..its true a lot of us struggle with make up(even i did)..but in reality it is easy if you are willing to practise :)

“Kiss and make up - but too much makeup has ruined many a kiss.”-Mae west

So today I'm going to tell you about a basic everyday make up..its quick and easy!

  • Start with a clean washed face.

  • Apply a moisturiser for a good make up base.

  • Conceal with a liquid or mousse concealer under the eye and on marks and blemishes.Blend the concealer properly .Some concealers help to conceal redness of the skin.Ask an expert at the store if you find all this confusing, they will help you find a perfect match for your skin tone.

  • Foundation helps to even out your skin tone.Foundation should always match your skin tone.(You do not want to look like a ghost).Take a mineral based foundation and apply in circular motion.I prefer mineral foundations over liquid or stick foundations as they do not give you a cake like appearance of make up on the face.

  • Apply a Kajal or eye liner of your choice on the lower and upper water line.It enhances and draws attention to the eyes.

  • Apply a black or transparent mascara on the eye lashes(apply 2 coats if needed).Mascara makes your eyes look bigger, which is very pretty.

  • Apply a very light shade of lip gloss.Never ever,i repeat,NEVER EVER apply a dark shade of lip colour with a dark shade of eye liner! You can either draw attention to your eyes or to your lips..if you try both its a recipe for clown face!

  • Brush your hair and that's it your done!

 Its easy right?Just practise a lot :)

What’s in the bag? Bags can be messy, so here are some must haves to help you keep your bag organized.

Mirror: Most obvious! A compact handy mirror will do the job!

It’s a must! Choose a sunscreen with a SPF of 20 or more to prevent tanning. Do not buy tinted sunscreens; they make you look ugly in pictures!

These are a must, especially if you live in a humid city like Mumbai!

Do I need to explain?

Smelling good is essential!

Keep your lips soft with these easy to apply lip balms!be kiss ready :)
Also carry stuff like eye-liners, pens, bobby-pins, tissues, napkins and medicines
With all this stuff in your bag, you are good to go!
